The Department of Tourism Regional Offices-CAR, Ilocos and Pangasinan, Cagayan Valley Reion and Central Luzon are staging a grand exposition to attract more tourist and ensure their share in the country’s growing foreign visitor arrivals which posted a 10.12% increase from the same period last year.
Now on its 9th year, the North Philippines Tourism and Travel Expo (NorthPhil Expo) is set to happen on November 14-16, 2014 at the Event Centre, SM City Clark, Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga.
NorthPhil Expo is staged as both a travel promotion and consumer marketing event catering to both foreign and domestic market. It provides common ground for domestic and international tourism stakeholders to explore market and promote their destinations, products and services all under one roof. Trade visitors and industry buyers have been joining this event as a regular plan which has been working effectively in tourism business networking and trade development. It is also recognized as a best way to get into the vast North Philippines market of more or less 23 million population.
In support of the government’s thrust of a public-private partnership, the fair is a group effort of the Association of Tourism Officers of Central Luzon, Inc. (ATOCEL), Philippine Exhibits and Themeparks Corporation (PETCO) and the North Philippines DOT Regional Offices.
